Weight: Goal +23 (Another gain!!)
Energy levels: OK, I guess. Didn’t need too many naps. Although the increased energy could be a result of maintaining a sugar high for about 5 days.
Diet: Cupcakes, cupcakes, cupcakes! E had a cake sale at school on Friday, so we baked about 2 dozen. But a certain little man refused to allow any of them to be sold, so they all came back home. Unfortunately, a large number of them made their way into my tummy. And onto my thighs.
Exercise: One 5km walk and day one of the 5km in 5 weeks programme, which works out to 2km, so 7kms in total. I’m feeling pretty good about getting Some exercise. I just really hope that at some point I make it past day one of the programme.
General comments: I’m pretty depressed at the fact that, despite getting substantially more exercise than last week, I still gained 2kgs. What the what! This doesn’t seem fair. I guess its proof that it doesn’t matter how far you walk if you live on cupcakes.
In general, I’m feeling more positive though. Far less self-loathing swirling around. I think that this is directly linked to getting some exercise. Hopefully this will get me to the gym a bit more often.
